Cursive handwriting
At New Lubbesthorpe, we have chosen to teach our KS1 and KS2 pupils the cursive handwriting technique as it is believed to accelerate their joining up of writing, spelling and overall presentation.
Please view the 'Cursive Handwriting at New Lubbesthorpe document below, which contains the alphabet in the cursive style that we are teaching the children.
You can use this document to support your child with their cursive handwriting.
In addition we subscribe to Letter Join an online handwriting resources that we use in school and families can then access at home on both computers and tablets. The activities are fun engaging and help the children progress through the different stages of cursive handwriting.
